An Easter bunny hunt is taking place to help pay for new play equipment at Sidmouth Primary School.

The school's Parents, Teachers and Friends Association is hoping to raise £10,000 to revamp the play area with new markings and kit including an obstacle course and climbing frame.

As part of the fundraising, a fun competition is taking place, with participants invited to spot nine pictures of Easter bunnies on display in town centre shops and cafes, for the chance to win a hamper of chocolates.

Entry sheets are available from The Dairy Shop in Church Street for a minimum suggested donation of £1 per entry. The first 100 completed forms will win a mini chocolate treat. The deadline for returning the forms is Friday, April 16.

Anyone who would like to donate to the school's playground appeal, or who has an idea for further fundraising, is asked to email [email protected]
