Vintage Spitfires to join Red Arrows air display in Sidmouth

Two vintage Spitfires are to join Sidmouth's air display in August.
It's already been announced that the Red Arrows will be performing their spectacular aeronautical display over the town on Friday, August 27 – and that there will also be an RAF Dakota from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The vintage Spitfires have only just been booked to attend, and this was revealed at Sidmouth Town Council's Tourism and Economy Working Group yesterday evening (Monday, June 14).
The airshow will take place from about 6pm and the usual arrangements will be in place for extra for car parking and traffic management, including the closure of the Esplanade to traffic.
All arrangements are subject to Covid restrictions and the Government's guidelines for large events.
