Woman taken to hospital with leg injuries after three-vehicle crash on Trow Hill, Sidmouth

Part of the A3052 near Sidmouth was blocked both ways for several hours yesterday afternoon (Thursday 5 May) due to a crash.

A total of three vehicles were involved in the collision, which took place on Trow Hill at around 4.20pm.

One woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries, but police say they are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "This was reports of a three-vehicle collision on Trow Hill, Sidmouth, at around 4.20pm on Thursday 5 May.

"Ambulance also attended. One woman was taken to hospital with leg injuries which were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening."

The A3052, which was blocked from Sidford to Trow Hill, was clear by at least 7.29pm the same day as reported by Nub News.

Two people, a 20-year-old man from Exmouth and an 89-year-old man from Seaton, were killed in separate crashes on the A3052 at Trow Hill last year.
