One of the drivers involved in a two vehicle crash on a main road in and out of Sidmouth today has been reported by the police for 'driving without due care and attention'.
The crash, which resulted in minor injuries for some of those involved, took place on the A3052, near Bowd, at around 12.50pm.
Devon County Council has confirmed the routes it will be gritting in the Sidmouth area this winter.
A report that goes before Devon County Council's Corporate, Infrastructure and Regulatory Services Scrutiny Committee next Tuesday will outline that the council's gritting policy will be virtually identical to that delivered last year.
A two vehicle crash has blocked a main road in and out of Sidmouth this afternoon.
The crash took place on the A3052, near Bowd, at around 1.10pm.
A Yellow Weather Warning has been issued for the Sidmouth area by the Met Office, with flooding 'likely'.
The Met Office issued the weather warning for heavy rain today (November 22) and has told the public to expect:
The Sid Valley Neighbourhood Plan was officially 'made' by East Devon District Council following a resolution at a meeting of Cabinet on October 30 and will sit alongside the Council's local plan.
It now becomes part of the Development Plan for East Devon and will be used to determine planning applications for the Sidmouth area.

Planning officer have said they're 'lovin it' over plans for a new drive-thru McDonalds near Sidmouth as part of a huge new service station development.
