Update: 89-year-old man dies in hospital following A3052 Trow Hill crash

An 89-year-old man from Seaton has died in hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the A3052 near Trow Hill, Sidford on Friday 3 December.
He was the driver of the black Renault Clio that was involved in a collision with a blue VW Exclusive.
The passenger in the Renault, a woman in her 80s, remains in hospital.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a man in his 70s, was also taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called shortly after 2.30pm on Friday 3 December to the A3052 at Sidmouth following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
"The collision involved a black Renault Clio and a blue VW Exclusive.
"The driver of the Clio was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
"He has since been named as 89-year-old Victor Smith from Seaton; his next of kin have been informed.
"The passenger in the Clio is a woman in her 80s and she remains in hospital.
"The driver of the VW is a man in his 70s who was also taken to Derriford Hospital but with less serious injuries and has since returned home.
"The road was closed for eight hours as investigation work at the scene took place.
"Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that could assist with enquiries.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact [email protected] quoting log number 432, 3 December."
This incident comes after another, separate collision in August on Trow Hill which resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
