Jack Nunn, 18, from Sidmouth recently earned the title of British K1 Champion at 60kg.

He has now set his sights on becoming a world champion and is looking for sponsorship to help him achieve his dream.

Jack has been training at Team Chaos Muay Thai and Fitness Centre in Okehampton for about three months - although he has been practicing Muay Thai since he was 12 years old.

Jack's mum, Vikki Lory, spoke to Sidmouth Nub News: "His new coach, Steve Pender, is getting Jack to where he should be.

"They have several champions at Team Chaos and they follow a strict training program. If they are fighting they have to eat clean; meaning lots of protein, which gets expensive. As Jack is only on an apprentice wage, his wages don't go far.

"He works full time as an apprentice mechanic at West Hill garage and also studies at college one day a week. He's fighting every month, depending on injuries, trains Monday to Friday and also runs five times a week before work."

Jack's next fight is on August 24, against Corey McLaughlin who's had over 100 fights and is his toughest opponent yet.

Jack Nunn said: "I am looking for sponsorship so that I can dedicate my life to the combat sports of K1 (kickboxing) and Muay Thai.

"Now that I am British champion I have a good platform to build on and with some very big fights planned, I want to become even more of an athlete than I am already.

"What would really help is sponsorship. I need to focus on my diet and nutrition, to help me train harder than ever before and also supplements that could aid my recovery.

"I am blessed to have been supported by my family but now I look to move onto the next level I would like to get support which would also ease the load on them.

"I would love to endorse your products or services on social media and wear your logo on my ring walk shirts.

"My goal is to become a World Champion and I would like you to be part of my success.

"I would also like to say a special thank you to Team Chaos Devon for giving me the skills to operate at this platform and with them guiding me.

"I know I will make my dreams come true."
