UPDATE Missing Sidmouth woman found safe and well

UPDATE: Missing Sidmouth woman, Daphne West, has been found safe and well. Devon and Cornwall Police has thanked the public for their assistance.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of an 82-year-old woman who has been reported missing from Sidmouth.

Daphne West was last seen at 1.45pm at the Triangle Bus Station in Sidmouth. Police enquiries remain ongoing to locate her.

In a statement released by Devon and Cornwall Police: "Daphne is described as white, of a slim build with short grey hair and around 4ft, 11ins tall.

"She was last seen wearing glasses, a navy blue jacket, beige trousers and red shoes, carrying a red handbag."

A family member believes that she may have boarded a bus to either Exeter or Lyme Regis.

If anybody has information on the whereabouts of Daphne West, please contact Police on 999 quoting incident number 486 of 19/07/19.
