A car ended up on its roof on Peak Hill Road in Sidmouth on Tuesday (17 January).

Only one car was involved in the incident and one "slight" injury was reported.

Police were called to the scene at around 6.55pm and the road was cleared by around 9.30pm.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision, which left a car on its roof, on Peak Hill Road, near Sidmouth, at around 6.55pm on Tuesday 17 January.

"A slight injury was reported.

"The road was blocked for a time but was clear at around 9.30pm once the car had been recovered."
