It is currently being marketed by estate agency Knight Frank as a freehold with vacant possession.

Described as a "traditional full-service hotel", it has been owned by the same family since 1939.

The hotel has 72 guest bedrooms, three guest lounges, two restaurants and a lounge bar. It also features a spa, 19 staff bedrooms, owners' accommodation, as well as a car park to the rear.

Accounts for the financial years ending on 31 March 2018, 2019 and 2020 reportedly show average earnings before tax in excess of £420k.
