Christmas window display winners announced

Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce the winners of this year's annual Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition.

Two independent judges walked around the town last Wednesday evening, December 9, looking at the festive windows and deciding on their favourites.

The winners are: Larger Retailer – Fields of Sidmouth. Small Retailer Flutterbys. Coffee Shop & Takeaway – The Courtyard. Charity Shop – Cancer Research. Commendations – Ebenezer's Christmas Shop.

The winners were presented with their prizes and certificates by Simon Jupp MP.

'Support local shops this Christmas'

He said: "Shop owners and staff in Sidmouth have gone above and beyond to make the town feel festive and I really enjoyed meeting the winners of this year's Sidmouth Best Dressed Window Competition.

"Congratulations to them all and everyone who took part!

"We must all do our bit to support our local high street this Christmas and I've really enjoyed buying presents for friends and family in our local shops, because you can't beat proper local customer service."
