Roads in Sidmouth and Newton Poppleford are currently flooded after heavy rain from a thunderstorm this afternoon (Tuesday 9 May).

According to the AA, the A3052 is closed both ways due to flooding between the Exmouth turn-off and Budleigh Salterton turn-off.

There is also heavy traffic on the A375 to Sidbury, and Woolbrook Road in Sidmouth is flooded.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, which is in place until 10pm.
