The full programme for Sidmouth Folk Festival is now available to view online.

Founded in 1955, the 69th consecutive annual week-long celebration will take place from Friday 4 to Friday 11 August.

The traditional start to the Sidmouth Folk Festival will happen on Thursday 3 August in Market Square at 7.30pm and feature Great Western Morris, Sidmouth Steppers, Sidmouth Traditional Mummers, Mrs Midnight's and others.

Also performing on Thursday will be Cornish musical sensations Fisherman's Friends.

During the festival week, there will be major concerts, ceilidhs and folk dancing, as well as storytelling, family entertainment, youth-centred sessions and hands-on workshops.
