An overturned car has partially blocked a key route connecting Sidmouth to the A30.

Police report the incident took place at around 1pm today on New Road near West Hill.

Both directions are partially blocked after the incident between Rockbeare Hill and Allercombe Hill.

Motorists are advised to avoid the road while work is done to clear the road.
