A Sidmouth takeaway restaurant, located just off the Esplanade, has announced it is reopening - with new systems in place which allow for social distancing.

Prospect Plaice looks set to invite customers back to the premises on Thursday, 30 April from 12 - 7:30pm and will be offering a full menu.

Restaurant owner, Nigel Stout told Nub News: "I've been talking to my suppliers and other takeaway businesses which have recently reopened, and the general consensus is that it should be okay.

"I've introduced special measures to reduce human contact; with markings on the floor two metres apart, Covid-19 advisory signs and condiments available to takeaway."

People can place an order by phone - 01395 513928 - at the counter or click here for the Prospect Plaice website.
