Sidmouth Nub News 'pop-up' Book Club: 'I Looked Away'

Nub News is inviting Sidmouth book lovers to get involved with our 'pop-up' Book Club.

We are calling it that, as it's a one-off event to promote the work of celebrated Sidmouth author, Jane Corry.

In respect of her new thriller published next month; we thought we would collectively read her previous novel 'I Looked Away' and hold a discussion, with readers and the author, at the end of May.

With lockdown continuing into the summer, wiping the calendar clean of events - this is something we can do as a shared experience without posing any risk.

The lockdown also means many of us have more time on our hands and reading is a positive activity that has added mental health benefits.

Anxiety levels are at an all time high within society, so it's important we find ways to connect with our communities.

That is what Nub News is all about - providing Sidmouth with a news service dedicated to the town and its people.
