Sidmouth Town Council has announced that the Red Arrows will attend Sidmouth Regatta Airshow this year.

The RAF aerobatic team failed to show up last year, cancelling on the day of the event.

Joining the Red Arrows will be a Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Several other teams yet to be announced will be joining the line-up.

Chair of Sidmouth Town Council Cllr Chris Lockyear said: "This is great news that the Red Arrows are to return to one of the best possible places to watch them in the country, along with some great other teams which we shall announce shortly."

Sidmouth Regatta Airshow will take place on Friday, 25 August 2023 at the provisional time of 5pm onwards.
