Seven drivers reported for speeding in Ottery St Mary during police operation

Seven drivers were reported for speeding during a Speedwatch monitoring session in Ottery St Mary.

On Thursday, August 29, Special Constables joined the Ottery St Mary neighbourhood policing team in monitoring the speed of vehicles in and around Ottery St Mary.

Seven drivers were reported for excess speed in a 30mph zone; the top recorded speed being 41mph.

Another seven drivers were warned about exceeding the 30mph limit or for minor vehicle defects, such as having a light out.

Members of local community Speedwatch schemes joined the officers as observers.
