Sidmouth: Overturned car near Newton Poppleford shuts A3052

The A3052 was closed both ways at Newton Poppleford on Saturday 6 August in the afternoon when a car overturned.

The police, fire service and ambulance service were all at the scene.

One person was hurt in the incident, but the injury was 'minor'.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 4.30pm [on Saturday] to the A3052 at Newton Poppleford following reports of an overturned vehicle.

"The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the scene and the vehicle was recovered.

"One person sustained a minor injury."
