LED, the organisation which runs Sidmouth Swimming Pool, has announced that the pool will reopen on Saturday (July 25).

Thanks to funding support from East Devon District Council, LED is now able to reopen Sidmouth Swimming Pool and Exmouth Leisure Centre's pool.

Children's swimming lessons are not able to return at this first stage of re-opening and as a result Under 16 Unlimited membership will remain suspended.

A spokesperson for LED said: "Following on from the great news that we were able to re-open the dry-side of our leisure centres from Saturday, July 25, we are now able to update you about the swimming pools at Exmouth Leisure Centre, Honiton Leisure Centre and Sidmouth Swimming Pool, as well as updating you about Aqua and Toning memberships.

"We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the funding and support of East Devon District Council, we are able to open the pools at Exmouth Leisure Centre and Sidmouth Pool on Saturday, August 1.

"As well as lane swimming in suitably distanced wider lanes, Aquafit and family swimming sessions will also be returning. Please check individual centre timetables for exact details.

Sidmouth Swimming Pool will reopen on Saturday, August 1, at 8am.

Opening Times:

Monday to Friday – 6.30am to 7.45pm

Saturday to Sunday – 8am to 1.15pm.

Members will be able to book pool-based activities from Wednesday, July 29, via the LED App or website.
