Sidmouth: Woman taken to hospital after car hits tree on A3052 near Branscombe

A woman was taken to hospital as a precaution after the car she was driving hit a tree on the A3052 near Branscombe on Saturday afternoon (12 November).

She is believed to have sustained minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We received reports a car had collided with a tree on the A3052 near Branscombe at around 3.15pm on Saturday 12 November.

"Female driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution. Believed to be minor injuries.

"Vehicle recovered around 4.45pm."
