Woolbrook Flower Show is set to return to Sidmouth after a seven-year hiatus.

It will be held on Saturday (16 September) with exhibits in St Francis of Assisi Church and hall.

Classes on offer will cover cookery, arts and crafts, floral arrangements, cut flowers, pot plants and fruit and vegetables.

Organiser Liz Harris said: "It has been seven years since Woolbrook has hosted this flower show and we want to resurrect the tradition and bring the community together through a love of horticulture and traditional baking."

The show is open to all and there will be a raffle and refreshments provided on the day.
