Welcome to the first weekly planning briefing from Sidmouth Nub News. Every week your Nub News team will put together a report on the planning applications, big and small, submitted to the area's planning authority, East Devon District Council, from the Sidmouth area.

The applications featured in this report have been verified by EDDC but decisions on the applications have not yet been made.

Here are the planning applications verified by EDDC for the week beginning Monday, December 9:

-Change of use from B1(c) (Light Industrial) to dog grooming/small dog day care (Sui Generis).
