In Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce's most recent newsletter the organisation talks about upcoming social events and its activities in the town.

What has your Chamber Done for You?

- Recent Open Breakfast mending bridges with the new Leader of EDDC, Cllr Ben Ingham. A good cross section of the community now attend, including church leaders, private residents, members of other groups (eg SVA) and colleagues.

- Held a purely social BBQ in July in what must be the best location in England, Sidmouth Cricket Club.

- Offered free support funded by EDDC on anything to help businesses in East Devon enhance their digital productivity.

- We shortened the timescale of Station Road three-week road closure.

- Assisted with cleaning up for the Sidmouth in Bloom team.

- Sidmouth Scaffolding put up our bunting and Steven Kendall-Torry our flags.

- We attended the Town Council Tourism & Economy meetings with new ideas and made representations on Control of Advertising, Sidmouth Town Centre and the Two Bridges site at Sidford to name but a few.

-The new editor of the Sidmouth Herald addressed our AGM.

Saturday, September 21, - Sidmouth Classic Car Show on Sidmouth Cricket Field - Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Crash Box Club of Devon.
