Sidmouth Fair Trade Group are compiling an Online Directory (in conjunction with Sidmouth Town Council) of all businesses that use or sell Fair Trade goods.

This will include hotels, restaurants, cafes, food stores as well as businesses that provide Fair Trade drinks to their customers or staff - eg hairdressers, hardware shops, solicitors etc.

We have noticed that during the Coronavirus lock down, residents have become more used to ordering online and having goods delivered or posted to them so now is a good time to compile our directory of Fair Trade ethically produced goods that can be sourced locally.

Deirdre Hounsom, the Town Council representative for the Fair Trade group said: "A home delivery option is particularly useful for people who are isolating for either 14 days or for a longer time. We are hoping that this directory will eventually be part of a new Sidmouth Town council residents facing website.

"We would like anyone who stocks or offers Fair Trade items to get in touch with us so that their details can be included . We want to hear from you as we continue to help everyone adjust to the new circumstances we find ourselves facing."
