Tickets selling fast for Sidmouth Last Night of the Proms concert

Tickets are selling fast for Sidmouth Town Band's Last Night of the Proms concert this Saturday (19 August) in Connaught Gardens.

TV and radio personality Jeremy Vine will host the evening, and another special guest in attendance will be renowned mezzo soprano Marie Elliott.

Prom-goers can expect a "varied and engaging programme" of music including some new arrangements as well as all the usual Last Night of the Proms favourites.

The annual event attracts hundreds of attendees who bring tables, chairs, picnic hampers and refreshments to enjoy the music.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and the lawned area of the gardens will be open from 6pm.
