The entire seafront from Manor Road to Port Royal will be closed to all traffic from 12pm to 9pm on the day.

No-parking restrictions will be in place from 12pm to 9pm on Manor Road, Station Road between the Esplanade and Ice House Lane, the entirety of All Saints Road, Radway, Vicarage Road, Temple Street and Arcot Road, The Triangle and Redwood Road.

Port Royal will also be closed from 12pm on Friday 25 August to 9pm on Monday 28 August for regatta activities.

The Esplanade from Ham Lane to Fore Street will be shut from 8.45pm to 9.45pm on Saturday 26 August for a firework display.

Water safety zone

A temporary air display water safety zone will be in force off Sidmouth beach on Friday 25 August.

No vessels are allowed in this area from 4.30pm until the end of the display (approx. 7pm) and the area will be patrolled.

Failure to comply could result in the airshow being delayed, curtailed or cancelled.

Volunteer collectors wanted

The town council is also seeking volunteers to help collect money towards the show.

They will be needed across the seafront, Salcombe Hill, Peak Hill and Connaught Gardens collecting donations via buckets and contactless payments.

If you would like to be a volunteer, email [email protected].
