Two people injured in serious crash near Sidmouth

Two people have been injured in a serious collision near Sidmouth today.

Police were called at 11am to Sidbury Mill, Burnt Oak, following reports of a two car crash.

Two people had to be extracted from their vehicles by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.

Police have confirmed that both of the people extracted from their cars sustained injuries but those injuries are not being treated as life-threatening.

Both vehicles have now been recovered and emergency services have left the scene.
