What time will the Red Arrows be performing above Sidmouth?
More details have been announced about Sidmouth Air Show – including the expected timings of the different aeronautical performances.
The air show starts at 5.30pm on Friday, August 27 with the Royal Navy Wildcat Solo Display.
At 5.45pm there's Rich Goodwin's special aerobatic display in his Pitts biplane, followed at 6.05pm by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota and two Spitfires.
The finale, at 6.30pm, is the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Display Team, The Red Arrows.
Parking arrangements for Sidmouth Air Show
Extra parking will be available, in addition to the existing district council car parks at the Ham, Roxborough, Mill Street and Manor Road. There'll be parking at locations including Sidmouth Rugby Club, and this will be clearly signposted, with marshalls on hand to direct the traffic.
A temporary exclusion zone will be in place on the water offshore of Sidmouth Beach during the air show, read more about that here.
To enable the air show to take place in the years to come, volunteer collectors are still needed to assist in gathering donations from the public across the seafront, Salcombe and Peak Hills and Connaught Gardens, through collection buckets and contactless payment.
