Devon County Council has announced which roads in the county will be closed for street parties for the coronation.

Sunday: Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce coronation street party

Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce will hold a street party (Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce)

Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce will be staging a royal street party to celebrate the coronation of King Charles.  

The coronation itself takes place on Saturday 6 May, and the street party will be held the day after on Sunday 7 May from 4pm to 7pm.

The format will be similar to previous street parties organised by the Chamber, taking place in Market Square and surrounding streets.

Sunday: 'Elizabethan Extravaganza' play on Kennaway House lawn

Sid Vale Community Productions will be performing an 'Elizabethan Extravaganza' on the lawn at Kennaway House, to celebrate King Charles III's coronation on Sunday at 2pm.

Admission is free and any donations to Sid Vale Community Productions will be gratefully received.
