An open garden event to raise money for Hospiscare will be held in Newton Poppleford this weekend from 11am to 3pm.

Admission is £5 and there will be chutneys, jams, books, refreshments and more available.

Sidmouth Town Band performing in Connaught Gardens (Sidmouth Town Band)

Sidmouth Town Band's annual summer season is underway with weekly performances every Sunday at 8pm in Connaught Gardens.

This summer will see the band perform a total of 15 concerts until 3 September.
