For local photographer Kyle Baker, it was a case of being in the right place at the right time, when at a recent training session with the Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat a rainbow suddenly appeared over the west side of Sidmouth seafront at sunrise.

Luckily Kyle had his camera with him and was able to capture a unique shot of Sidmouth with the symbol synonymous of the pandemic.

As in lockdown #1, Kyle wanted to do something to help the Sid Valley Food Bank where he produced a limited edition hardback book, Locked Down In a Small Seaside Town. These books were very popular and enabled him to make a donation to the food bank.

In lockdown#3, using the rainbow image, Kyle decided to create a limited run of 10 24 x 12 inch panoramic prints with £10 from each sale going to Sid Valley food bank.

Once they were promoted on his Facebook page, Kyle had a great response and sold them all before being able to load them onto his website, www.kylebakerphotography.com, but this does mean he is able to donate £100 to the local charity.

He is very grateful to everyone who purchased a print and if you would like to keep in touch with future offers you can subscribe to his mailing list via the website.
