BREAKING: Concern 'for the welfare of a man' on Sidmouth coastal path - ongoing police incident

Police and paramedics have cordoned off a section of coastal path near Sidmouth today after concerns for the welfare of a man in the area.

Due to the incident being ongoing full details have not yet been released by Devon and Cornwall Police but we do know that there is a significant emergency service presence on the coastal path near Alma Lane.

A police spokesperson told Nub News: "Police were called at 9.30am today (September 9) following concern for the welfare of a man located on the coastal path off Alma Lane in Sidmouth. Ambulance is also on scene."
