Every week Sidmouth Nub News highlights an Event of the Week – something happening in the next few days that you might like to go to.

There are also event listings in the What's On section of the site – and anyone can add their own events, free of charge.

So if you're organising a pub quiz, a walk, an exhibition, a sporting fixture or a live gig (when restrictions allow) or anything you'd like to promote, just go to the What's On section and hit Nub It.

This week's Event of the Week is an evening street market at Kennaway House this Friday, June 25.

'Sidmouth Eats Boutique' features food and drink from local producers. On the menu this Friday are chicken and falafel wraps, burgers, pizza from a wood-fired oven, churros and chocolate, and something a bit special - 'sitr fried' ice cream.

At the Frost 'n' Curl stall, milk (or soy milk) is poured in its liquid state onto a plate at minus 30 degrees. Colin of Frost n Curl adds your flavours and 'cooks' the liquid by agitating and cooling it on the cold plate until it freezes solid, and then rolls it up with a spatula. Sharon then garnishes your ice cream with your choice of fresh fruit, cream and syrup.

The event starts at 4pm, and Covid restrictions will be in place with a one-way queuing system and social distancing.
