Sidford: Get Your Skates On - Hallowe'en Roller Disco tickets are available now!

Since lockdown there has been a worldwide roller skating revival at one point leading to a shortage of roller skates! Closer to home we have Charlotte Norton's Skate Squad in Sidmouth and Exmouth, Cleo and Nellie's Lyme Regis Skate Club and more established groups in Exeter.
The Seaside Skater aka Nikita Kay and friends are holding a Hallowe'en roller disco for all skate owners to enjoy on Friday 29th October 7-9pm at Sidford Social Hall.
Nikita said, "There is a great supportive skating community, someone is always willing to teach you a new move, give tips and encouragement and you can see confidence grow. Roller skating is something everyone can enjoy, male and female, young and old. There is always laughter and a few falls! We want to share the fun and who doesn't like to dress up and have a boogie?"
Tickets are £5 (£3 for accompanied children) and include lots of Hallowe'en fun, lights, special effects and great prizes for best fancy dress and skating moves kindly supported by Skate Hut. You will also be sent a tutorial link to learn some moves ready to join in a flash mob 'Thriller' whatever your ability.
