HSBC closes Sidmouth branch due to Coronavirus 'staffing restrictions'

The HSBC bank in Sidmouth has closed due to 'staffing restrictions to delay the spread of COVID-19'.
The bank, on New Street, will remain closed 'until further notice'.
A notice has been posted on the door of the bank informing customers of the closure. It states: "We're really sorry but we've not been able to open today due to new HSBC UK staffing restrictions to delay the spread of COVID-19.
"This branch will remain closed until further notice. We will reopen as soon as possible.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. For further banking needs please call Telephone Services on 03457 404 404, online at www.hsbc.co.uk and mobile banking."
