LC Fitness blog: Chair workout to help keep active over Christmas

By Philippa Davies

Just because it's the holidays, doesn't mean you should sit back and do nothing.

We'll all be consuming our bodyweight in food and drink over the festive season, and, chances are, we will be doing very little to compensate for the extra calories.

Why not try a little workout I've put together? It is even chair based so if you do struggle a bit with mobility, this will give you a little support. Although I would add, I suggest using a much firmer chair than the one I used! A dining room chair would be perfect.

  • Please note: Lauren Clapp and LC Fitness can not be held liable for any injuries or damage caused whilst doing this workout. Taking part is at your own risk.

Use the break (if you're having one) wisely and try and get out for some walks in the fresh air too.

The LC Fitness studio is now closed for the Christmas break, re-opening Monday 4th January. We will be updating our timetable for the New Year.

2020 has been a tough year for us all, so onwards and upwards for 2021, thank you to everyone who has supported me.

I wish everyone a lovely Christmas and a healthy and happy 2021.

Stay safe
