Emergency services were involved in a search for a missing man in the Sidmouth area at the weekend.

Police requested a coastal search after his car was located at Peak Hill, and HM Coastguard and Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat were mobilised just after 2am on Saturday (11 November).

Additional coastguard, police and fire teams were also drafted in to cover the area.

The person was eventually found safe and well.
