The Sidmouth Choral Society, which is a registered charity, has undergone a change of direction.

Instead of delivering the usual classical feasts for Christmas, such as the big Handel works, we've decided to cancel the formal concert that was scheduled for the evening of 9 December, and simply bring Christmas carols to the people of the town.

The new event is called "Sing in Christmas" and is brought forward to the afternoon of 9 December at 4pm at Sidmouth Parish Church.

This is so that families can all come along and sing carols with us, then go home with the Christmas spirit in their hearts in time for tea.
