New managers are needed to take on a popular pub in Sidford.

The company that operates The Blue Ball Inn in Sidford, Punch Pubs & Co, is looking for new managers to take on the pub.

The Blue Ball Inn was completely rebuild in 2007 and sits on the main road through Sidford. It has nine guest bedrooms, a function room and its own private garden area.

Punch Pubs & Co plan on refreshing the décor, furnishings, furniture and exterior for its new team.

The company is looking for a 'skilled operator, with experience in running a larger scale hospitality business' as well as people with experience in managing a team and providing good customer service.

Here is how Punch Pubs & Co describe The Blue Ball to potential new managers: "The Blue Ball, Sidford, despite its traditional appearance, is actually one of our newest pubs, having been completely rebuilt in 2007.

"The pub was remodelled on the existing footprint of the property and done in such a way that it still retains its appealing charm and character. The pub is prominent on the main road through Sidford when heading to (or from) Lyme Regis so has regular passing trade.

"This pub is a true community hub for local residents and we would like to maintain this. There is a fantastic potential to continue to develop the food within this business and the main reason to visit, for many of the guests, is the delicious Sunday Roast and home cooked food throughout the week as well as a relaxing break in one of the nine guest bedrooms.

"The business also offers a function room, popular for meetings and celebrations, as well as housing the skittle teams – it is a very versatile space that has it's own private garden area so there is lots of opportunity."
