‘Role model’ promoted to Team Leader at Sidmouth care home

Doveleigh Care Limited is proud to announce that staff member Sam Narbett has been promoted to Team Leader at Arcot House in Sidmouth.

She joined Doveleigh Care more than two years ago as a Care Assistant.

Keen to learn, she completed her QCF level 2 quickly and was promoted to Senior Support Worker, taking on additional responsibilities and becoming a Shift Lead.

A Doveleigh Care spokesperson said: "Sam shows great leadership skills and has really embedded the Doveleigh way into how she works with the team.

"Her latest promotion has led her to be a Team Leader. She has demonstrated her ability to carry out additional tasks over the past six months, being a role model to new and existing staff."

Sam Narbett said: "Being able to show how much I have learned and perform to the best of my abilities, while handling new challenges and responsibilities, is what I am looking forward to in my new role."

Team Leaders support staff and enable them to look after residents with consistent high-quality care.
