Sidmouth: Tractor and van involved in crash on A3052 near Branscombe

A crash involving a tractor and a van took place on the A3052 near Branscombe today (Tuesday 31 May).

The male driver of the van was taken to hospital as a precaution after sustaining minor injuries.

Police were called out at around 1pm, and the road was cleared by 3.30pm. The ambulance service was also at the scene.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a collision involving a tractor and van on the A3052 near Branscombe at around 1pm today, Tuesday 31 May. 

"The ambulance service also attended.

"The male driver of the van sustained minor injuries and has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

"The road was clear by 3.30pm."
