A Sidmouth shop has been nominated as a finalist in the RETAS Greeting Card Retail Awards for 2022.

Kingfisher Cards and Gifts is currently in the running for the 'Best Independent Greeting Card Retailer - South West' award alongside five other finalists.

It won the 'Best Greeting Card Retailer Newcomer or New Branch – South' category last year.

The RETAS awards were launched by Progressive Greetings, a magazine, in 2005 to recognise retailers in the greeting card industry.

Tiffany Leach, owner of Kingfisher Cards and Gifts, said: "I'm so very proud of my girls and Toby they do an amazing job with customer service, inventory-ing and putting their all into making the shop look fantastic whilst always keeping smiley when times can be difficult for them as they often are for us all.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 7 July at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
