A crash involving a lorry and two cars has closed the B3180 in both directions between Sidmouth and Exmouth.

Police report the crash took place at around 3pm on the B3180 near Aylesbeare.

The road is closed in both directions and traffic is reported to be slow in the area due to the incident.

It is believed the crash took place between the junction for the A3052, Aylesbeare, and Oak Road, Higher Metcombe.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area while police clear the road.
