Sidmouth Folk Week will return this summer

Organisers of Sidmouth Folk Festival are looking forward to bringing the town together after the difficulties of the past two years for a fun-filled week by the seaside in August.

The popular event will return for its 68th year from Friday, July 29 to Friday, August 5.

A spokesperson said: " With a real reason to celebrate, we will be filling the seafront, streets and venues with festive atmosphere and fun, as festival goers and holiday makers join together once again for the friendliest music-based holiday of the summer.

"The week-long festival offers a unique and diverse line-up of events for all – from full season ticket holders to day visitors – with major headline shows, small intimate events, dancing, singing, playing and plenty of participatory fun."
