Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce works to promote, represent and lobby on behalf of the local business community and the High Street.

On April 9 we had our first committee meeting chaired by our new chairman David Cook.

Planning continues for our late night Christmas shopping event which will be held on the evening of Friday, December 6.

Also we are preparing for the Chamber's Classic Car Show, which will be held at Sidmouth Cricket Club on Saturday, September 21.

We have also decided to hold a barbecue in the summer, the date and venue are yet to be confirmed.

On April 10 we had our Chamber Open Breakfast meeting and were given an informative talk on the role of magistrates in the judicial system.
