Mike Goodman is standing for election as a Conservative to represent the Sidmouth Sidford ward at East Devon District Council.

I was a county councillor and cabinet member in Surrey before moving to Sidmouth two years ago with my wife Karen.

I am passionate about helping others, through Rotary I helped families and senior citizens in the Sid Valley last Christmas.

I am part of the parish church and umpire for Sidmouth Cricket Club.

I also started the petition to stop the doubling of car parking charges in Sidmouth.

There is so much that can be done for residents and the environment and I want to represent you so you have a voice in what happens in your area.
