Recent studies at Bath and Birmingham universities have shown that, on average, exercising before breakfast burns more fat than exercising later in the day.

Fitness instructors, personal trainers, and pretty much everyone else in the health and fitness industry get asked a lot of the same questions. But without doubt, one of the most frequently asked is whether it matters if you work out morning or night, before eating or after.

For years there have been differing arguments for both, and personally I am a strong advocate of fitting fitness into your lifestyle however and whenever works best for you. But there's no denying that there is a compelling case for exercising before breakfast.

Alpine Park Cottages is a complex of 11 self catering cottages along the A3502 which has been owned and run by the Mynard Family for the last 14 years.

Last night Alpine Park Cottages based near Sidmouth was awarded the Bronze Award in the Self Catering Accommodation Provider of The Year category at the prestigious Visit Devon 2019 Tourism Awards held at the Riviera Centre in Torquay.

The awards saw a record of 240 entries across 27 different categories, with 167 receiving judge visits as part of a comprehensive judging process.

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has been in East Devon today as part of his campaign trail for the Conservative party in the run-up to the General Election on December 12.

Today (November 28) he visited Darts Farm on the outskirts of Exeter, where he was joined by Conservative candidates Neil Parish and Simon Jupp, standing for the Tiverton and Honiton and East Devon constituencies respectively.
