A Sidmouth based personal trainer and life coach is providing tailored virtual packages addressing people's mental and physical health during lockdown.

33-year-old Zara Tsigarides, who has owned ZT Fit Studios on Alexandria Industrial Estate since 2015 and has worked as a personal trainer since the age of 19, has had to temporarily shut the fitness studio due to the coronavirus.

Connaught Gardens, Sidmouth

Connaught Gardens and Blackmore Gardens in Sidmouth are to remain closed to the public, while other 'large or easy to access' park sites will re-open today.

The council decided to close parks to help people abide by social distancing measures and because of a reduced workforce - a decision that was balanced by the fact that East Devon is a rural district with good access to the countryside and open spaces.

Collection crews say they have been delighted with the level of public support shown to them in recent weeks, including pictures and thank you notes left on bins and outbreaks of spontaneous doorstep applause from appreciative residents.
